Rough Horsetail, or Mu zei in Chinese, is a plant that grows in the rocky lands of the northern hemisphere.

In TCM, Mu zei has a purifying action: it protects the body from energies that disturb the Kidneys and cause urinary dysfunctions. Thus, its use promotes healthy urination and the elimination of kidney toxins.
