Barbate - Ban zhi lian

Barbate, or Ban zhi lian, is a plant of the mint family that grows in the plains of south-central China where it is consumed for its detoxifying and protective properties.

In traditional Chinese medicine, Ban zhi lian is used to expel Heat and combat its effects on the Liver and Blood. It is recommended to purify the body of toxins and preserve the proper functioning of the organs.

Herbal tea : Add 10 g of plants to 500 mL of water, bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat before serving.
