Congee, a kind of porridge prepared by long cooking in water, cereals (usually rice) or plants, is one of the forms of preparation most commonly used in chinese dietetics because of its many benefits on the health.
This congee composed of six plants (Xiao zao, Nuo mi, Hua sheng, Hong dou, Gou qi and Long yan rou) nourishes Blood and Qi and promotes skin health.

Advice for use
Let Hong dou macerate in about 5 cm of water for 12 hours and all the other ingredients for 1 hour. Bring the mixture to a boil then simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Add brown sugar.
