Bu zhong yi qi tang
补中益气汤
A traditional formula of Traditional Chinese Medicine, designed to lift and stabilize energy when vitality declines, and to support periods of persistent fatigue, incomplete recovery, or a loss of drive.
1 Bottle of 100 capsules - 50g
1 Bottle of concentrated powder - 100g
Description
Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang: when energy regains its steadiness
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, certain forms of fatigue are not simply linked to a lack of energy, but to the body’s difficulty in producing and maintaining Qi over time. When digestion weakens, energy becomes unstable: it disperses, is quickly depleted, or “fails to hold.” Recovery slows, physical drive decreases, and a persistent sense of fatigue may settle in, even after rest.
Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang was designed to address this precise dynamic.
It supports the body when it struggles to sustain daily energy, helping it better transform, distribute, and stabilize Qi, without excessive stimulation.
When each herb supports the action of the others
Producing more stable energy
Ginseng (Ren Shen), Astragalus (Huang Qi), and Prepared Atractylodes Rhizome (Bai Zhu) support digestion and assimilation, the foundation of daily Qi production. They accompany periods of prolonged fatigue, overwork, or recovery, helping the body regain steadier energy without exhausting it.
Supporting circulation and momentum
When energy is weakened, it can lose steadiness and direction. Bupleurum (Chai Hu) and Cimicifuga (Sheng Ma) support the harmonious circulation of Qi and promote better energy distribution throughout the body, fostering clarity, stability, and a renewed sense of drive.
Harmonizing digestion and tolerance
Mandarin Peel (Chen Pi) and Licorice Root (Gan Cao) regulate digestion and the circulation of digestive Qi. They allow the formula to nourish without weighing down, and to act gently over time.
Supporting endurance and recovery
Chinese Angelica (Dang Gui) completes the formula by supporting Blood and energy over time. It accompanies recovery and helps prevent gradual exhaustion, contributing to more stable vitality.
A supportive formula, without stimulation
Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang follows a foundational, long-term approach.
Rather than acting as a short-term or stimulating support, it accompanies the body in the gradual rebuilding of its energy, promotes better endurance, and supports steadier vitality, well suited to fatigued or weakened constitutions.
