This work is intended for acupuncturists. Without knowing it, they practise hypnosis: they treat the Body to treat the Mind, or treat the Mind to heal the Body. They no doubt have access to more scholarly works on Traditional Chinese Medicine, but they will find here a few suggestions for taking care of patients in the pre- or postoperative phase and for developing the idea of a "hypnoacupuncture".
It is also intended for practitioners of hypnosis, in the hope of inspiring vocations to become acupuncturists practising "acuhypnosis". It proposes to show how this discipline can strengthen the way they accompany patients through their processes of change.
Finally, it is intended for anaesthetists: with equivalent technical skill and medical knowledge, the difference between two doctors will lie in the humanity brought to the care given to patients.
The meeting between the doctor and the patient lies at the heart of this work, which sets out a reflection and an approach around the daily practice of these three specialties.
