Common reed - Lu gen

The famous Tang Dynasty physician Sun Simiao passed down to future generations a summer recipe called "Mai Dong Lu Gen Tang", in which common reed root plays a key role.

In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), common reed, with its cold nature, is used to help purify the lungs and stomach. Lu Gen is renowned for its heat-clarifying action, its support for expectorating phlegm and its power to quench thirst.

Herbal tea: Place 10g of roots in 500 mL of water. Macerate for 10 minutes, bring to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes before serving.

Store away from light and a heat source. Keep out of reach of children. Food supplement reserved for adults and children over 12 years old. The use of this food supplement should not replace a diversified diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
