Burdock is a plant native to Asia. Sometimes consumed for culinary purposes, the Chinese pharmacopoeia uses its root but also its seeds (Niu bang zi in Chinese) for their detoxifying action on the respiratory system.

Indeed, Niu bang zi effectively soothes the throat and favours the expectoration of mucus clogging the airways. Thus, it is a powerful detoxifier that clears the respiratory system and relieves coughing. Niu bang zi is especially recommended for soothing allergic reactions** (running nose, sneezing, itching, etc.).

• Concentrated powder : two pods (3g) to be taken morning and evening outside of meals. Dilute the dose of powder in a small cup of boiling water, mix well and drink.

• Capsules : Swallow three capsules with a large glass of water morning and evening outside of meals.

• Place 10-15 g of seeds in 500 mL of water, macerate for 20 minutes, bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes before serving.
