Marshmallow root - Racine de Guimauve

Marshmallow is a plant native to Europe and Western Asia, usually consumed and known to be a sweet with a soft and sticky texture. In traditional medicine, Marshmallow root is used for its many benefits, especially in cases of respiratory discomfort.

With its expectorant and softening properties, marshmallow root soothes the throat and clears the lungs. Thus, it calms the cough by promoting the elimination of mucus and purifies the respiratory system to allow its proper functioning.

Herbal tea : Place 10-15 g roots in 500 mL water. Steep for 10 minutes, bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes before serving.
