Description
Tao jiao refers to pectin. It is an ingredient frequently used in cooking as it allows to gel jams and jellies. Also called peach resin or peach gum, Tao jiao comes from the sap of the Prunus persica, a peach tree native to China.
Beneficial for health, Tao jiao acts mainly on digestion and skin. Its use is thus recommended to regulate the transit, to reduce the appetite and to preserve the cutaneous comfort.

Usage
Let 8-10 grams of Tao jiao macerate in 1L of warm water for about 8 hours. Bring the preparation to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes on low heat. Tao jiao can be added to grits, dishes or eaten as is with brown sugar.
Precautions for use
Store away from light and a heat source. Keep out of reach of children. Food supplement reserved for adults and children over 12 years old. The use of this food supplement should not replace a diversified diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
