American Ginseng root - Xi yang shen

As its name suggests, American Ginseng is native to North America. It is said that Native Americans already used its root for its incredible benefits on the body. Now widely cultivated in China, Xi yang shen is recommended by traditional medicine to tonify Qi and nourish Yin.

Herbal tea : Add 5-10 g of roots to 500 mL of water, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat before serving.
