Milk thistle - Chardon-Marie

Originally from hot and sunny regions, milk thistle is a very common plant around the Mediterranean. Since ancient times, its use for the comfort of the liver has been very widespread.

Milk Thistle is generally recommended to detoxify the liver since it has a recognized hepato-protective action. Traditionally used to relieve digestive discomfort of hepatic origin, this plant helps regulate bile secretions in order to prevent the formation of clots. Thus, it cleanses the liver, stimulates its function and facilitates the digestive process.

Herbal tea : Add 10 g of seeds to 500 mL of water, bring to the boil and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat before serving.
