Nelumbo nucifera, or Lian zi in Chinese, are extracted from lotus, a sacred plant in Asia. They are often used in soups for the sweet taste in China but they are well-known for their soothing and tonifying properties.
Lian zi has soothing effects on nervousness and calms the mind to restore serenity and mental rest. Eating lotus seeds fortifies the body and these seeds are highly recommended to elderly people and those who suffer from digestive discomforts, insomnia and stress.
Advice for use
Herbal tea : Add 10 g of fruits to 500 mL of water, bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes slowly before serving. Drink the juice and eat the fruit.
- Concentrated powder : two pods (3g) to be taken morning and evening outside of meals. Dilute the dose of powder in a small cup of boiling water, mix well and drink.
- Capsules : Swallow three capsules with a large glass of water morning and evening outside of meals.
Precautions for use
Store away from light and heat. Keep out of reach of children. Food supplement reserved for adults and children over 12 years old. The use of this dietary supplement should not replace a diversified diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
