Rhododendron - Man shan hong

Rhododendron, also called Azalea, is a plant native to China and Japan. If the acid taste of its beautiful colored flowers is very appreciated in several Asian countries, it is the virtues of its leaves (Man shan hong in Chinese) that have aroused the interest of traditional Chinese medicine.

In TCM, Man shan hong acts on the Lung and Spleen meridians. Thus, it is recommended for respiratory comfort: it eliminates Mucus and soothes the airways.

Herbal tea : Infuse 5 g of flowers in a large cup of boiling water for 5 minutes.
