Congee, a kind of porridge prepared by long cooking in water, cereals (usually rice) or plants, is one of the forms of preparation most commonly used in chinese dietetics because of its many benefits on the health.
This congee composed of five plants (Bai he, Yi yi ren, Xiao zao, Lian zi and Xiao mi) tonifies Yin, fights Dryness, clarifies Heat and eliminates Humidity.
Lilium brownii 8g, Coix lacryma-jobi 25g, Ziziphus jujuba 17g, Nelumbo nucifera 17g, Setaria italica 33g
Leave all the ingredients to macerate in about 5 cm of water for 1 hour. Bring the mixture to a boil then simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Add sugar.
Precautions for use
Store away from light and a heat source. Keep out of reach of children. Food supplement reserved for adults and children over 12 years old.
