Description
Sang ji sheng refers to the branch of the Taxillus chinensis, a shrub that grows in the hot regions of southern China. This plant appears in the founding texts of TCM, recognized for a long time for its benefits on joint suppleness and bone remineralization.
Indeed, the branch of Taxillus chinensis reinforces the flexibility of the tendons and the strength of the skeleton by tonifying the Liver and the Kidneys, the systems which "govern" tendons and bones in TCM. Moreover, the plant acts on the blood circulation which naturally has a beneficial action on the bone system. Sang ji sheng is therefore ideal for restoring joint comfort.
