Description
Originally cultivated in Asia, the Yam has spread everywhere and more particularly in Africa where its cultivation is substantial. Its root (Shan yao) is used in Chinese pharmacopoeia to tone the Qi and the Spleen.
In Chinese medicine, Shan yao is generally recommended in case of weakness of the Spleen. Thus, it helps to relieve temporary weakness by strengthening the body.

Concentrated powder : two pods (3g) to be taken morning and evening outside of meals. Dilute the dose of powder in a small cup of boiling water, mix well and drink.

Capsules : Swallow three capsules with a large glass of water morning and evening outside of meals.

Place 10-15 g rhizomes in 500 mL water. Steep for 10 minutes, bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes before serving.

Keep dry and protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Food supplement reserved for adults and children over 12 years old.
