Congee, a kind of porridge prepared by long cooking in water, cereals (usually rice) or plants, is one of the forms of preparation most commonly used in chinese dietetics because of its many benefits on the health.
This congee composed of six plants (Hei dou, Yi yi ren, Hua sheng, Hei zhi ma, Bai he and Hei nuo mi) strengthens hair health, slows the appearance of gray hair, evens skin tone and helps balance cholesterol level.

Advice for use
Let Hei dou macerate in about 5 cm of water for 12 hours and all the other ingredients for 1 hour. Bring the mixture to a boil then simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Add sugar.
