"Wàng, Wén, Wèn, and Qiè 望闻问切" is a term used in traditional Chinese medicine. "望" (Wàng) refers to observing aspects such as the patient's development, facial color, tongue texture, and facial expressions. "闻" (Wén) pertains to listening to sounds such as the patient's tone, cough, breathing, and detecting odors such as bad breath and body odors. "问" (Wèn) involves questioning the patient about their symptoms, medical history, and other relevant information. "切" (Qiè) entails taking pulses and palpating to detect masses or blockages.
