Description
Lily bulb, or Bai he in Chinese, is extracted from a plant grown throughout Asia. In addition to being widely used in cooking, Lily bulb has a soothing effect on the airways and on mood disorders.
In TCM, the Lily bulb acts on the Lung and Heart meridians: thus, its action is twofold. Firstly, it focuses on the lung, which it humidifies in order to calm respiratory discomfort and clear the airways. Secondly, it acts on the heart, the organ that houses the Shen (Spirit) in TCM, to tranquilize it and calm torments, stress, nervousness. In this way, Bai he calms the spirit to allow entry into a state of relaxation conducive to restful sleep.

Concentrated powder : two pods (3g) to be taken morning and evening outside of meals. Dilute the dose of powder in a small cup of boiling water, mix well and drink.

Capsules : Swallow three capsules with a large glass of water morning and evening outside of meals.
Herbal tea: Place 10-15 g bulbs in 500 mL water, steep for 10 minutes, bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes before serving.
