Originally from East Asia, Kudzu is a plant grown mainly for its tuber which is edible. Traditional Chinese medicine recommends the use of its root (Ge gen in Chinese) to promote the elimination of toxins accumulated in the lungs, especially in the case of tobacco consumption.
