Description
Mulberry : Body Balance & Radiant Skin
Nicknamed the “Mulberry ”, the mulberry leaf (桑叶, Sang Ye) is harvested when the sap is at its peak. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is known to clear internal heat, soothe the lungs, and balance liver energy, especially in cases of irritability, dry eyes, or skin breakouts.
A true breath of inner freshness, Sang Ye helps release tension and restore balance during periods of emotional or physiological imbalance.
Its major modern asset lies in its richness in DNJ, a natural compound that slows sugar absorption after meals, helping to stabilize blood sugar levels and preserve skin radiance.
Today, it easily fits into wellness routines—a gentle yet effective ally for those seeking serenity, metabolic balance, and natural beauty.
Benefits
- Natural sugar regulation: Helps stabilize blood sugar after meals, supports a balanced metabolism, and reduces the effects of sugar on the skin.
- Clear and radiant skin: Reduces breakouts linked to stress or hormonal imbalance, soothes inflammation, and promotes a healthy glow.
- Liver soothing: Ideal in cases of nervous tension, hot flashes, headaches, or red eyes.
- Gentle lung detox: Clears the lungs and Qi, especially appreciated during seasonal changes or when dryness affects the respiratory tract.
- Natural hormonal support: Cools without being harsh, perfect for women during menopause or premenstrual periods.
- Emotional balance: Calms irritability, stress-related insomnia, and restless dreams.
- Natural antioxidant: Protects the skin from premature aging and supports healthy microcirculation.
The Natural Daily Anti-Sugar Drink
Harvested from ancient mulberry trees, mulberry leaves are known for their gentle and natural effect on blood sugar balance—so much so that they are nicknamed “plant insulin” in Asia. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, they have long been used to support the liver and enhance energy regulation.
Rich in DNJ, flavonoids, and fiber, they help slow sugar absorption and support overall balance.
Whether you’re sensitive to blood sugar fluctuations, have a sweet tooth, or simply want a daily wellness ritual, mulberry leaves can easily be integrated into your routine. As an infusion, they provide a light, healthy break at any time of the day.
