Description
Xiao yao san (or Xiao yao wan) is a well-known formula of traditional Chinese medicine known to nourish the Blood, harmonize the Liver and Spleen and relax the Qi of the Liver.

Composition for 6 capsules (3 g) : Angelica sinensis 450 mg, Poria cocos 450 mg, Paeonia lactiflora 450 mg, Atractylodes macrocephala 450 mg, Bupleurum chinense 450 mg, Glycyrrhiza uralensis 300 mg, Zingiber officinale 300 mg, Mentha x piperita 150 mg, Aqueous dry extract in concentrated powder, titrated at 1:5, vegetable capsules in pullulan

Concentrated powder : two pods (3g) to be taken morning and evening outside of meals. Dilute the dose of powder in a small cup of boiling water, mix well and drink.

Capsules : Swallow three capsules with a large glass of water morning and evening outside of meals.
Warnings
Do not use for more than 6 weeks without medical advice. Not recommended for prolonged use
Not recommended in case of concomitant use of anticoagulants or diabetic treatment. Consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Not recommended in cases of high blood pressure, heart or kidney disease, liver failure, or any disturbance of hydro-electrolyte balance. Consult a health care practitioner if you are taking medication.
Not recommended in cases of gastro-oesophageal reflux, peptic ulcer, gastritis or biliary disorders (gallstones) and/or liver disorders, or for people allergic to menthol.
