Chinese angelica, sometimes called female ginseng, is a plant native to China. Its root (Dang gui in Chinese) has been used by TCM for thousands of years because of its therapeutic properties.
Used in TCM to revitalize the Blood, Dang gui stimulates blood circulation, soothes menstrual cramps and alleviates post-menstrual fatigue. Its action on the blood makes it a great solution to recover after a difficult menstrual cycle, childbirth or an accident. Concentrated powder : two pods (3g) to be taken morning and evening outside of meals. Dilute the dose of powder in a small cup of boiling water, mix well and drink.

Capsules : Swallow three capsules with a large glass of water morning and evening outside of meals.
Herbal tea : Place 10-15 g roots in 500 mL water. Steep for 10 minutes, bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes before serving.
