Congee, a kind of porridge prepared by long cooking in water, cereals (usually rice) or plants, is one of the forms of preparation most commonly used in Chinese dietetics because of its many benefits on the health.
This congee composed of five plants (Lian zi, Fu ling, Yi yi ren, Hua sheng and Bai he) clarifies Heat and promotes skin health.
Nelumbo nucifera 18g, Poria cocos 9g, Coix lacryma-jobi 45g, Arachis hypogaea 18g, Lilium brownii 9g
Let Fu ling macerate in about 5 cm of water for 12 hours and the other ingredients for 1 hour. Bring the mixture to a boil then simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Add milk or sugar according to your preferences.
